WHO ARE YOU?
We are Red-Jay Writing, a group of four friends from the University of York who have decided to pool their writing together on one site and share it with the internets. Both of them.
WHAT AM I DOING HERE?
I can only presume that you were duped. Either that, or you're here to read some literature. If the latter is the case, then please feel free to browse the above menu options and take a look at our writing. They're organised into three categories;
Completed - this will allow you to read the "final" product...pretty self-explanatory
In Progress - if you want to read a story as it evolves, or keep up to date with our latest poetry, then this section is for you. Bear in mind that these are rough drafts of our work, and is due to change at a moment's notice - so do check back for updates!
Planned - to get a sneak-peek at what we have coming up, just click through here; not much actual material to read, but plenty of ideas!
Ben, being difficult, had to go and invent some catagories of his own, but don't worry- they're fairly self-explanatory.
I CAN'T VIEW THE PDF FILES
Yes, that can be a problem. The main benefit of PDFs are that they look pretty, and don't require us adding hundreds of pages to the site for the longer texts. Some of our work is available to view online without the need of PDF readers, but if its something that is only available in PDF I would always point people towards Foxit PDF Reader since its a small file, and best of all, its completely FREE! If you really don't want to download a PDF reader, or are having other issues, but still want to read something, get in touch and we'll see what we can do.
WHEN WILL BE UPDATED NEXT?
Unless there's a regular schedule (Ben, for example, is fond of deadlines) then there's no telling when the latest update will come around. Being University students, we occasionally have to do a bit of work; being the most popular students at the university (or at least in the top eighteen... hundred) has also cursed us with a sometimes busy social life, and that too could be preventing new writing being uploaded. But rest assured, we're all very dedicated, and so we'll be pumping out as much as we can.

WILL ANY OF THIS EVER BE AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE?
Of course we'd all love to get our stuff published, but its obviously very difficult. That said, Amazon now offers a service for printing copies of books that only costs the author (R.I.P.) the price of one copy. So, if you really want a physical copy, let us know and we should be able to come to an arrangement. Also, we may arbitrarily decide to take it upon ourselves to do this, if so, we'll make a note of it under the description
